“Laughs for Leathernecks” is our annual FUNdraiser night of comedy, dinner, and silent auction at The Improv in the Irvine Spectrum, to be held Monday, October 7th

WHAT: “Laughs for Leathernecks” – Dinner & Comedy Show. There will be a blockbuster silent auction and fabulous raffles, too!!

Attend yourself or Sponsor a Marine(s) for a night of laughs for only $50, which includes dinner, a hilarious star-packed comedy show, a silent auction, and raffles. Proceeds for this event will help provide support and outreach to our Fighting Fifth Marines and their families. So come say “Thank you” to our Marines for their service and sacrifices and join them in a fun-filled evening.

ALL-STAR COMEDY LINEUP FILLED WITH LAUGHTER!!

  • Tom Riehl back once again for his 9th year as host/emcee of our Laughs for Leathernecks comedy extravaganza, Tom Riehl has been a part of the Orange County comedy scene since the early 90s, both as a performer and a producer. He has appeared at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Ice House, and multiple movies. He was a winner on ABC’s America’s Funniest People, and Tom was the host and producer of cable TV’s cooking show “Food Rules,” which ran for nine seasons. Currently, Tom can be seen and heard dishing out recipes on his YouTube channel, Riehl Food, and live Instagram and Facebook events, as well as producing monthly shows at the Z Playhouse in Mission Viejo.
  • Vince Harper also appears in this comedy extravaganza. Vince has realized that things aren’t working out exactly as he’d planned… Someone stole his identity and actually raised his FICO score! He shares intimate thoughts that other Baby Boomers would never admit to as he examines his shortcomings and the reality of riding high on the trail of aging. Vince won Orange County’s Funniest Comedian Competition and has performed with such comedy greats as Jay Leno, Gary Shandling, and George Lopez.
  • Frances Dilorinzo is an international corporate comedian who proves intelligent women don’t have to be stuffy. She delivers a thought-provoking joke one moment and then an uninhibited physical punchline the next! Her comedy has taken her from one continent to another as a top performer on cruise lines, including Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and more! Her corporate performances are in high demand, and who could say that better than Warren Buffett, who declares, “You were terrific. Just terrific!” Dilorinzo’s television credits are numerous, including appearances on NBC, CBS, ABC, Lifetime, Comedy Central, TLC, and A&E, and she has millions of views on YouTube!
  • Brian Kiley has appeared several times on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” He performs regularly at clubs in L.A. Brian was a staff writer for Conan O’Brien for 27 years. During that time, he won an Emmy Award for Writing in a Comedy/Variety Series in 2007 and was nominated sixteen times. He was a staff writer on the final season of “Ellen” and won a Daytime Emmy in 2022.
  • James P. Connolly is a former member of the Fighting Fifth; He is a stand-up comedian and radio/TV host known for his playful, confident style and quick wit. He attended Harvard University on a Marine Corps ROTC Scholarship. While serving in Desert Storm, he was ordered to write jokes for a Colonel. Arriving in Hollywood, he began to perform at LA’s major comedy venues and soon popped up on television, commercials and in small films. James has appeared on America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central, HBO, in the Netflix series, “Larry Charles: Dangerous World of Comedy”, and on the Audible Audio Documentary, “Strong Ending”. James can be heard daily on SiriusXM Comedy Channels, has hosted “Live From Here” for National Lampoon XM Radio, and recorded a “Blue Collar Radio Comedy Concert” for SiriusXM, He produces an annual Veterans Day Comedy Show benefiting the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP). James has a brand new Comedy Special “Acceptable Loss” available on the Dry Bar+ Comedy App and streaming on YouTube!
